We were thrilled when comedian Mario Tory and his team approached us to collaborate on an animation project they were preparing to pitch to investors and streaming platforms.

It’s taken a bit of time since completing our portion of the work, but we’re excited to finally share select elements from the project. Our contributions included script review—identifying the scenes that best captured the heart of the series and would spark excitement among audiences, storyboarding, rough animatics, two versions of a series poster, environmental design, updated character designs to make them more animation-friendly, episode and season budgeting, and more.

Stay tuned for additional updates from our collaboration with the SlimeVille team. As more work becomes public, we’ll continue to update this page.

Rough Storyboard Animatics

An animatic is the crucial stage between storyboarding and animation. This step allows the animators to stitch together storyboard panels, add basic timing, camera movements, and sometimes even dialogue and sound effects. This enables the team to get a preview of pacing and narrative flow before going to full production.

Check out some of the non-audio versions of the animatics we completed for SlimeVille below.
